I have not been able to write at least one post every two days, as I promise myself. To date, this month has been a busy month. It has also been tiring too. When we have lectures over two weekends, it is literally 21days of work without a break!
Yes, it is good to be busy, especially in these economic trend. People are not spending. First the festivities are over, so there is really no need to spend extra, what with the year end bonuses mostly depleted by now. Access to the modern media has done a good job too - creating a foreboding. I heard too that those who have had mutual funds etc have just received their statements - the points may have increased, but the value has been down by 30%! I hear too rumours come July 09, the unemployment rate will jump even more, as companies review the first half year's performances. Apparently our local banks are contemplating vvs etc to the amount of 3,000 heads!
Fortunately for us, we have had been thrifty. There was never any extra hand we could do without! Yes, the Lord has blessed us! Todate we have one digit growth over last year. However, this is still not good enough for the trade.
So Lord, bless your people, your creation, in these difficult times.
